Signing In with Google, Apple, or Microsoft

In addition to signing in with an email and password, Helium supports signing in with your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account. This lets you log in without managing a separate password.

Available Providers

  • Google — available on iOS, Android, and web
  • Apple — available on iOS, Android, and web
  • Microsoft — available on iOS, Android, and web

How to Sign In

  1. On the sign in screen, click Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Microsoft
  2. Complete the sign-in prompt from your chosen provider
  3. If this is your first time signing in, Helium will create an account for you and link it to this third-party provider

Linking an Existing Account

If you already have a Helium account with an email and password, you can link it to your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account (as long as the email address matches). Follow the same steps above for “How to Sign In”, and when the process completes, Helium will detect your existing account by the matching email address, and merge them.

Once linked, you can sign in using either your email and password or your linked provider — whichever is more convenient.

Account Management with OAuth

If your account was created entirely through Google, Apple, or Microsoft sign-in, a Set Password option appears in Settings. Clicking it lets you add a Helium password to your account — after which you can sign in with either your email and password or your linked provider, whichever you prefer.

Forgot Password only works for accounts that already have a Helium password. If your account has no Helium password, use your linked provider to sign in instead.

If your account has a linked OAuth provider, the Change Email option will not appear in Settings.

If your account is linked to both a password and an OAuth provider, the Change Password option remains available.

Helium Classic

Helium Classic supports email and password sign-in only. Google, Apple, and Microsoft sign-in are not available in Helium Classic.

Helium Classic will remain available until July 31, 2026.
