Deleting Your Account and Data
You can permanently remove your Helium account and all associated data at any time. This action cannot be undone.
Before You Delete Your Account
Consider reviewing the following before proceeding:
- Using Exports to Backup Data, Move Between Accounts — export a copy of your data first
- How to Export Data to an iCal/ICS File — export your schedule in a portable format
Steps to Delete Your Account
- Open Settings → Import / Export
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section and click it to expand
- Select Delete Account
- In the confirmation dialog, enter your password (if your account uses one) and click Delete
Once confirmed, your data is removed from Helium’s systems immediately, and any active Feed connections will stop working.
Deleting All Events
The Danger Zone also contains a Delete All Events option. This permanently removes every Event from your account without deleting your account itself. Assignments, classes (and their schedules), external calendars, and grades are not affected.
To delete all Events: open Settings, expand Danger Zone, and click Delete All Events. Confirm in the dialog that appears.
Helium Classic
In Helium Classic, account deletion is found in a different location:
- Sign in to your Helium account
- Navigate to Account → Settings → Account
- Select the Delete Account button
- Enter your password and confirm deletion
Helium Classic will remain available until July 31, 2026.
